How do I join?

Joining OSHMA is quick and easy. If you prefer to send a check, simply print the membership form and mail it to the address below and your membership card will be mailed to you.

Individual Memberships

OSHMA Memberships begin at only $35 a year. As a Member, you receive a number of exclusive benefits, ranging from invitations to special events (such as exhibit pre-opening receptions), to discounts at the Old State House Museum Store, to substantial savings on the rental of the Old State House Museum building or lawn (a most memorable venue for occasions such as an elegant rehearsal dinner or a family fish fry.)

Corporate Memberships

As a Corporate Member of OSHMA, you join a select group of companies and organizations who have declared their intention to preserve Arkansas's heritage and the most recognizable icon of our state, the Old State House Museum.

Corporate Membership carries with it...

• Employee discounts on special tours and classes at the Old State House Museum, a great company benefit and morale booster
• Invitations to all VIP functions
• A listing as a supporter in the Museum's annual report

As you increase your financial commitment, your organization will receive substantial discounts on rentals of buildings, the lawn and Trapnall Hall. Private tours, complimentary tickets to the OSHMA Annual Supper - a highlight of the fall social season - and special recognition by the Museum Commission can be part of your benefits package. 1836 CLUB

History doesn't belong just to our elders; it belongs to the next generation, too. That's the reasoning behind the Old State House Museum's 1836 Club: a way for our under-40 community of young adults and families to meet others and further their interest in Arkansas history and preservation at the same time.

Members enjoy entertaining events such as the Birthday Party for Arkansas, an annual June get-together that serves up hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, watermelon and family fun on the Museum's front lawn. Or how about a great band, cold drinks and barbecue on a warm weekend evening? Live music events on the lawn are currently in the planning stages. Come spend time with us!
